Course Description
Leadership Foundations introduces students to the essential principles, theories, and practices of effective leadership. Students will examine what it means to lead with integrity, vision, accountability, and service while developing the confidence and skills necessary to positively influence individuals, organizations, and communities.
The course explores leadership styles, emotional intelligence, ethical decision-making, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and personal leadership development. Students will also study influential leaders from Haiti and around the world, analyzing how leadership has shaped history and transformed societies.
By the end of this course, students will have developed a personal leadership philosophy and a practical leadership action plan that can be applied in their academic, professional, and community lives.
